Entry Requirement
To enrol in Level 3 Physical Intervention course, you must:
- need Level 3 Award in Education and Training AET or former PTLLS qualification &
Level 2 Conflict Management Award or equivalent be a minimum of least 16 years of age.
Provide photographic ID (passport or driving licence) and proof of Identification.
Be able to understand and communicate effectively in English (Level 1 English or equivalent)
Assessment Procedure
The physical intervention training assessment is straightforward.
- Practical Demonstration Assessment
- Instructional Ability Assessment – Candidates prove their teaching competence by:
Delivering a 15-minute physical intervention training session to peers
- a 45-minute MCQ Exam
