Entry Requirement
To enrol in door supervisor training, you must:
Hold a valid or recently expired SIA Door Supervisor Licence
Provide photographic ID (passport or driving licence) and proof of Identification.
- Must bring a passport size photograph.
Have completed Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training within the last 12 months (or book it with us as an add-on)
Be able to understand and communicate effectively in English (Level 1 English or equivalent)

SIA Door Supervisor Exam
On the final day of your door supervisor training, you’ll complete four multiple-choice exams and a practical assessment to demonstrate your knowledge and skills.

Time: 110 minutes
Pass Mark: 70% (at least 51 correct answers)
This exam tests your understanding of the private security industry’s foundations, including key roles, responsibilities, and important legal requirements.
🚪 Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor
Questions: 50
Time: 75 minutes
Pass Mark: 70% (at least 35 correct answers)
This section focuses on the specific duties of a Door Supervisor, such as providing excellent customer service, maintaining security, and effectively handling incidents.
🤝 Application of Conflict Management
Questions: 20
Time: 30 minutes
Pass Mark: 70% (at least 14 correct answers)
Here, you’ll show how to manage conflict professionally, using proven techniques to diffuse tense situations safely and respectfully.
